What started as a small up-cycled vintage furniture shop just celebrated its 13th anniversary!
Founded in 2010, Reimagine Furniture was a fun vintage shop located in a small basement on Elmwood Avenue. On the weekends, we’d go to estate sales and buy unique vintage pieces which we’d repaint and upholster, to give them new life. We were resourceful and loved rescuing beautifully designed pieces for people to incorporate into their homes.
In 2011 Reimagine moved to 732 Elmwood Avenue, a corner storefront with windows! Along with our new space came an evolution of our brand. Ró was born in 2012 with a new focus on the concept of calm living through functional design, showcasing a minimalist aesthetic. Alongside select curated vintage pieces, we brought in items sourced from innovative design firms, and custom-designed furniture made by local craftsmen.
To this day, Ró is a hub for delightfully designed unique pieces of furniture, housewares, fine art and interior design.
